What's the fastest stock motor 7M?

What was your/his trap? cause my brother only pulled a 1.9 60' we were curious what it would have done with some good Dr's and a high 1.6 low 1.7 60'suprarich said:

The 7m really is a strong motor, and as long as your up on your tune, have your timing right etc and avoid detonation like the plague, the motor will hold anything you throw at it. Compression doesnt kill motors, it doesnt bend rods or melt pistons, heat and detonation does. hell you can do all that with a Bone stock Turbo 7m if its not tuned right.
My grey car is still on cast rebuilders pistons and toyota rods with no headwork, just a basic rebuild. I consider a car with a MHG stock still. Installing a MHG with some ARP bolts isn't a power adding thing, its just preventing a not uncommon BHG. People sell the stock long block short. My car isn't even a good example of what it can really do.

I went 11's with a little over 400whp, and that should easily be able to be done on a stock motor.
I've got a stock motor with 174k miles on the block and about 6k on the head. Ran 11.72 with 60-1 ct and a 75 shot. Without nitrous it just made 384rwhp/400rwtq. I know people have made a lot more power with the stock engine though, and so I assume someone has gone faster.

SO will the stock motor hold a GT 35/40R with metal HG, ARP head studs and a MAFt pro with a good tune (and all the other bits needed like fuel/injection etc)

well, i got my motor together and 500 miles later my cometic hg is blown. I won't be breaking any records with this stock motor, Im done with the 7m. I'm going to go 1j
i have stock internals and ran a 12.2 without spray. stopped tuning at 431rwhp, because i didn't want to break that 500rwhp mark on stock internals. i thought i read that was a easy way to lose the 7m faster...
