You two guys are making me want to go back outside and work on the car again. Your pains don't sound like any fun at all. Ken, I know how it is with the sleep position thing. I have that problem on both sides. I don't know what's worse, not being able to afford the brake pads, or having them for months, and never having the motivation to go do the work. I may need to do calipers as well on my rears, and that, I can't afford right now myself. So, tomorrow, I may pull them all apart, and know it's all gonna have to be done again.

Scott I just don't see how surgery is not in your very near future. I'm much better following mine. My arms are stronger and they don't go numb every night while trying to sleep. My residual aches/pains I think are not the norm as most people are usually pain free by now. But my neck was pretty jacked up so it may just be taking more time than the average fusion. My current problems are just nuisances.

What else can we say to keep you outside working on the car?

You've been through the ringer son, mine is just a bump in the road. My surgery by no means compares to yours. You sir have successfully "one upped" me there.:biglaugh: How much more of this shit do you have to go through?

well when I got the braces off and retainers put in they had to fill some cavities which is understandable since metal in the mouth made it hard to get places. but then my luck my tooth next to the missing one began hurting like mad whenever something cold would hit it. so I been going back and forth having them try ideas on me drilling and modding my tooth thinking its hitting wrong.

now their thinking they might have damaged a nerve and possible root canal is needed.. sure hope not. on a better note from todays implant I managed to get the bleeding to stop... finally.

so I can't answer that, I'm just going for the ride praying to be done soon.

If the brake light is on, you're simply low on brake fluid.

If your brakes are squeeling really bad, then the pads are too low.

Hope that helps, as more than likely the pads are fine, just need to top of the fluid...

No my pads are just about non existant. The brake fluid is full and always has been. The brake light comes on usually after the first time I apply the brakes. The pedal doesn't go to the floor but about half way. The light will go off about 45 minutes later of pure highway driving. I've had other cars before that had the brake light come on when the pads/shoes got too bad. Maybe it has something to do with how far the calipers are extended.:dunno:

I couldn't stand it last night so I took her for a short drive to return some movies. Damn she runs so good and smooth:love:

nope, there isn't any sensors in the pads, the only reason that light will come on is in 3 cases:

-E-brake switch
-brake fluid level sensor
-along with the CEL and another light when your alternator is going out

Check the brake fluid COLD. The light came on on mine when we got that cold snap, as the brake fluid will expand as it gets warm, and the light will go away.

Thank you Kristel, I knew I could count on you. Hasn't been that happy of a day.

Now tomorrow if all goes well the gayblue 87 parts car, or what's left of it, will be gone. It has been kinda an eyesore and I really need to mow around it.

As it stands now.
