Hello.
Anyone from the celicasupra forums or the Alberta Supra Club probably knows me at least a little bit. I used to be a Mk2 guy -- still am, really, just don't have one right now. But I've done a horrible, horrible thing.
I bought a salvage 87 n/a. It's all in once piece, it wasn't in a collision. To me, it looks like a theft recovery. Nothing seems to be missing except for the stereo deck and now the e-brake button (between when I bought it and when I picked it up, someone decided they'd pick at the interior. Center console cover is pulled off and just kind of sitting there, and the e-brake button is missing) but apart from that and the side markers, everything's there. Once I patch the hole in the gas tank and pop in a battery, it SHOULD start, if everything is as okay as I think it is.
Back glass is smashed, will have to replace that. Other than that, it's in pretty good shape. I think I could have a running mk3 for a reasonable price.
Only thing I don't like about it is that it's an auto tranny, but $100 in parts and some back-breaking should fix that right up in the summer.
This post will have pictures later tonight, when I head out to take them.
