I used a gasket kit from ebay a little while ago. It works okay. Just a note though is DON'T USE THE INJECTOR O-RINGS. They are smaller than the OEM ones. You will piss fuel all over one injector at a time. I pulled my fuel rail about 3 or 4 times. It was like a game of whack a mole. Just go to toyota and get them. I paid about 24 for all 6 of them. The other gaskets work good though, except the manifold gasket. Again another trip to toyota and about 48 bucks.

I went to importperformanceparts.net to get the full gasket set, rings, bearing and what not. The prices are good and they are OEM quality. Good luck with the rebuild.

what about pistons?? So the bearings dont i have to take it to a machinist first so they can tell me what size to get. I want everything in the block basically new except for the rods and crank

They have the pistons on that site too. If your cylinders are staying at stock size, you can use the std. pistons and std. rings.

I'm east coast, so can't help you out there. But, you could always grab the TSRM and DIY. Or find another SM member that might be able to give you a hand.

That gasket set is for an N/A but most of the gaskets are interchangeable. I bought a set from RPMperformance.com. It came with the bearings, rings and gaskets for about $300 shipped and made by topline. I have had no problems with it.

Youll just have to get a HG to accomadate your block modifications. Dont forget to make sore you resurface you block and head and use ARP head studs.

As for the gaskets, go to toyota and get a bottle or two of FIPG :)

DO NOT CHEAP OUT ON THIS CAR. you may die, or some close.

I just got a set of gaskets from an ebay source and Im totally impressed. They were way better than the first set I bought and included more gaskets and seals etc as well.
Their store link is: http://stores.ebay.com/ERISTICGASKETS

I purchased a couple of items from them and it is all very nice OEM quality or better.

I used thoes pistons on my 89 supra pushin about 450whp at 18lbs of boost on a turbonetics 60-1 and never had a problem. Cheap and effective. Now as for how long the would have heald up at 450whp i dont know cuz the car got stolen about a week later. But untill then the car ran the best its ever ran before.

I'm looking at the full gasjet set right now from importperformanceparts.net. I would like to know which level you ordered.

Major Engine Kit:
Contains complete gasket set, set of pistons and rings, main bearings, rod bearings, thrust washers, timing belt, balance shaft bearings (if applicable), and a set of expansion plugs.
Does NOT include: camshaft, timing kit or oil pump!

$429

Gold Engine Kit: Major Kit components plus Oil Pump. $615

These kits are made by Topline and from what I have read they seem decent. However, they give you the option to upgrade to TOGA main/rod bearings as well as a TOGA HV oil pump. I don't know anything about TOGA or if the extra money would be worth it. (20 ea for rod and main bearings, 50 for the oil pump)

Any insight is appreciated because I have never done this before.

OEM oil pump, I'm guessing a stock TOGA pump is for NA and the HV is a renamed Turbo oil pump? Don't order any of that unless you know what size pistons you need to order, along with what size bearings.

Ya I won't be ordering anything till it's all apart and I know what size everything needs to be. I just want to know what to get and where to get it from. I know alot of stuff I should just get from Toyota.

What all gaskets should I use FIPG for and what requires a specific gasket from a kit like this?
