I know there's no convincing them, but ... any ideas - to stop them dead in their tracks of blabbing on and on about how much better their TPI V8's are than the 7M T ?

I had an '88 Camaro. Want to know how to prove your car is better?

Grab ANY plastic interior panel, and yank. Now explain how everything the Supra is bolted or screwed in - no plastic shit holding things in place.

Laugh at their cardboard backed headliner.

Laugh at their 2.73 (3.08 in some cases) stock rear end, that will blow up on the first strong pass with traction.

Laugh at their 'sound system' (4x6 plates under the dashpad, 6x9s in the rear sails)

Laugh at having to remove the rear end and driveshaft, in order to get to the fuel tank, to change the fuel pump.

Laugh at wheelhop as soon as you lower the car.

Laugh at their $100 door hinges, that are almost ALWAYS drooping, and need replacing.

Laugh at their needing subframe connectors (think your Supra without the targa - that's how they feel HARDTOP - nevermind the Ttop or even CONVERTIBLE versions!)

The OBD1 GM ECM is about the only redeeming factor of that car, stock.

Also explain how much easier it is to replace your spark plugs

Oh, look at the nose of the car and laugh once for every time they've hit a curb or a cement "stop" parking it at a gas station... 99% of those things are trashed...
