I'd say a full intake system, along with a functional airbox. Also, full 2.5" tubular headers.

ALSO, I would LOVE you FOREVER if you sold the stock lip mounting hardware, PLEASE!

-Matt

And ported anything!(Throttle body and Y-Pipe?)

Tubular header (bolt on, large diameter)

Full intake kit (cold air maybe)

I LOVE the itb suggestions, but i doubt that would be cost effective.

ITB'S would be nice....
ITB's and forward facing inlet manifold would be nice, *walks out front and looks at his bolt on tubular headers:love: * shame they throw sooo much heat onto the intake:1zhelp: .

If I could get ITB's for a reasonable price I'd contemplate not going turbo next year:3d_frown: .

Ported parts are all I'm looking into.

Well, that and nawz.

A beter intake would be the tits, but it doesnt have to be front facing. Just something that would flow better than stock and fit my 82. Actually, I would LOVE to see a different intake. I would be interested for sure.

Well, since I have trouble finding 2.5 inch stainless steel catback exhausts for the NA Supra, I think you should make a good one for us. Sometimes, people don't want to go to a muffler shop or whatever to make a custom exhaust, and most just want stainless steel. :D

That, and I don't want a 3 inch exhaust because those are a lot more money than 2.5 inch ones (usually) and you lose low-end response, so hopefully if you end up going with this idea it'd be cheaper than them too.

Check out 935 motorsports, they have 2.5 exhausts for our car's (your car:naughty: ) for cheap!

Clear timing cover, those Greddy ones are $150+. Make a replica and sell them for like $50 shipped. Maybe have clear and smoked ones.

-Matt

Its not hard to make an intake up yourself:nono: .

A forward facing manifold is almost necessary for me because of the amount of heat thrown off the extractors, it doesn't matter how good the intake is if its being heated as the intake temps are going to stuff the power output anyway.:aigo:

Exhausts I don't see much point in one because I have one already and two if I wanted one I wouldn't get an off the shelf one I'd just go to a shop and have one made up:icon_bigg .

Things like ITB's, or forward facing manifolds, clear timing covers are stuff that are hard to make yourself and expensive to get custom built, but if someone was able to turn say 15-20 of them out then the price could be reduced substantially.

Also, you might be thinking, why would people not want to make a custom exhaust? Easy. Depending on your location, you might not have a shop nearby + you are worried about the shop's quality/reputation if there is one.

heh...youd be surprised how much molds for things like timing covers cost.... figure almost 2-5k for a mold.... selling only 20 of them isnt going to be very cost effective..

Apexi filter adapter! Please! :1zhelp: :icon_conf

j/k, I'll just have to get one built locally. :icon_bigg

EDIT: You guys realize how difficult it'd be to build a FFI that didn't result in a loss of power? Especially, with the added loss of the ACIS system? Ensuring even flow to each runner on an N/A is MUCH more crucial to the GE than the GTE.

I really would like to see an intake, but I think that perhaps something following the stock layout with a ceramic coating would be more than enough.

15-20 was for ITB manifolds not timing covers. You could sell hundreds of timing covers because people liek bling:biglaugh: .

I can't see the ITB and FFI happening though so looks like I'll just make up a new intake or heat wrap the current one alot and pull the extractors off and get them hpc coated, they are too good looking to shield:naughty:

Why the hell should i be the one finding the people to commit to this?!?! YOUR the one whose gonna be making the money. ;)

All i know is if you make something "universal" with ge's and gte's, IE- timing cover, i will 100 percent purchase one.

Hell, ill send you the money now for one!
I would love a smoked one! Start a new thread and see how many people are certain theyd buy one!

EDIT - The other thing is i would not mess with manifolds and stuff with non-turbo guys. I ported and polished on not too long ago, and everyong said they would buy one blah blah blah.

Well, lets jsut say not ONE person has actually stepped up. Its still for sale.

well right now i have about 10 products in some form of R&D or prototype or production that im going to be putting out..... i have the aem tru boost GB going on in the group buy section (shameless plug haha). after that is completed i will take your smoke idea into serious consideration (i have actually thought of making a clear timing cover since the ati one for 150 is a little steep and they have a corner on the market....

so stay tuned ;)
