Aftermarket coils are more than just a cosmetic upgrade?

Most aftermarket coils put out more than double the voltage that out stock coils do.. plus they aren't 22+ years old.. lol

you'll only benefit if your ignition was breaking up under high boost. but they still look nice.

Getting ready to rip the steering rack out.

The amount of caked on sludge under there is astounding.

Yeah removing steering rack is the thing ipl do in the summer. Even tho there is no sound and leak fron it my steeri g wheel is heavy. I remeber my other supra it was very light so i know how i should be. What could cause it to be so heavy, not like when engi e is turned off but smth between as it shoukd be and when is turned off

Hows the fluid look? Chances are the fluid is old and dirty and the screen in the reservoir is clogged.

I just finished the kmh to mph conversion on my digital dash. I had to cut and solder a couple traces for the display and then I removed the stock 20 tooth slotted wheel and (crudely) made my own 12-slot wheel so I would have the correct speed displayed. This is what it looks like compared to the GPS nav on my stereo.

Oh, this is the wheel. I know, it isn't pretty but I don't really have an extensive tool collection. I'm in the middle of moving so much of that stuff has been packed in storage.

There's one bolt on the passenger side of the steering rack that is proving impossible to get to......

Yes fluid looks a bit dirty and... dont know the word to explain. So maybe i think it would be better to flash and clean it. Maybe its just dirt in it thats not letting the flow to happen.

If it isn't leaking I wouldn't replace the rack. You should definitley flush the system and pull out the reservoir and clean the reservoir inside of it by spraying brake cleaner into the screen until it is clear. If your fluid is dirty and old just doing this could at least help your problem, and maybe solve it all together.

That dash does look great Pyro, I love it. The more I see it the more I want one, especially since you have already done all the R&D on it and I would basically have to just follow your steps.
