I just don't like the idea of cutting up the housing but if I saw pics of the progress I can get a much better understanding. The cons of being a visual learner lol.

It is completely worth it, it's the best thing I've done to the car. Last night I was behind a late model Malibu coming through my neighborhood and my lights were shinning farther than his and I was behind him.

It can be kinda hard to understand at first, but after I did some research and learned more about them it started to make more sense. Once you have the parts in your hands it is a lot easier to understand what needs to be done.

They're like $20 eBay housings, you aren't gonna screw up much. Lol

Exactly, they aren't expensive or hard to get so I wouldn't worry about them.

Yeah will probibly just drain and refill im thinking to get just regular dextron II ATF red fluid since my engine is stock. Maybe this year later will take engine and tranny out to upgrade and then will fill then up with some "suggested" fluids but i think this shouldnt be bad costing around 9 $/L and when inserted my car data it suggested this from a local dealer.

I drove it today. I took the long back way home cutting through some neighborhoods because I absolutely hate sitting in traffic. I'd rather drive farther at 25 mph than sit in traffic. I also had someone call it a DeLorean. Again...

Went to get some cat food and on my way home I was in the turning lane and a white MK3 with 2 blue stripes drove by me. Always nice to see an MK3 on the road.

I would rather get stuck behind a supra than a DeLorean any day lol must be because you weren't going over 25mph

Haha, these were actually separate incidents. There was a guy in the parking lot that asked if it was a DeLorean, maybe because it wasn't moving. I don't see a resemblance...

*Neither of these are my cars, and I don't remember where I got the picture.

It amazes that people who know the names of the car mistake it for something that looks nothing like it especially a Deloreon since that car is probably the most famous because of Back to the Future.

I've actually had two people ask me "Is this one of those things from that back to the future?" They didn't even know what the name of a DeLorean was. I really have trouble finding any striking similarities.
