Finished rebuilding the rear subframe.
Pressed in some new sweet bushings with a custom made tool :D
I also welded up some nice reinforcement bracing on it.

Also finished polishing my cam covers yesterday and got my replacement decal in today

Also got in a dash cover so I don't have to worry about it cracking in the sun.

Now I just have to get it running...
Still have no idea how to fix it

And not something I did "to" the Supra as much as "for" the Supra...
Now I don't have to worry about hitting the paint on the rocker panels when I jack the car up. Not bad for ¢96.

Here's how the wheels turned out

No pictures, but I ordered a new turbo, a new lsd, a new intake manifold, and new injectors. Should be getting the car back together in a couple of weeks.

Swapped igniter for a new one, still no start. Guess I gotta buy a new ECU

Likely leaking capacitors in the ECU. Very common on JZA70 ECU's.

Do you guys remember the Blue Monster from long ago?? Well, she is about a month away from start-up 2.0!!! I've been working really hard this last month...I'm gonna share the HUGE photo album at some point cause I documented pretty much everything. But here it is so far. I'll be back at it as soon as I go back downstairs.

I followed the write ups from SupraDupra and the "LHD digidash bible" then just created my own 3D file. Once I've had a chance to test the wheel for accuracy I'll be replicating them.

Doctors say the EKG shows no signs of heart attack last November. Since then I have been treating the garage as "the office", so I have been spending time here regularly. I still do some AWS contract work, but I've got WiFi and a laptop... works just fine. Finally too fed up with my free PhotoBucket accounts, I deleted them. Unfortunately, it breaks a lot of pictures on this site. It was very dis-heartening to see photos identifying early and late blocks and cranks were gone. I hope it doesn't mean the member... is gone, too.

I've shared some of my files or folders with you. To open them, just click the link(s) below.

2-min walk-around-supra.MOV (file://MYDELL-17R5720/Users/David%20Russell/iCloudDrive/2-min%20walk-around-supra.MOV)
4-min walk-around-shop.MOV (file://MYDELL-17R5720/Users/David%20Russell/iCloudDrive/4-min%20walk-around-shop.MOV)

The link isn't properly represented behind the visible. Cut and Paste everything inside the parenthesis, and the file will down-load.

Cheers!
Good luck on those projects above ^ Nice to see :)

David

P.S. The URL in my signature is mine, but, it currently has an attempted static copy of a dynamic WordPress site that works...

AWS static web sites cost about $1 per month and they are hosted on CloudFront, which means, world-wide. I'm tired of having a web-site anyway. Static will be fine, when it works.

I received my new lsd from Pirate tip. Looks awesome. In the last few weeks I've purchased the lsd, new intake manifold, injectors, fuel rail, fpr, 6466 dbb turbo, tial bov, and a few things I'm forgetting. I hope this thing runs good once all the go fast goodies are added. I really should update one of my build threads or start another one. I'm going to get it painted again (third or fourth time since I've owned the car.) once I get it running. I'm not positive on the color yet, but I'm thinking about midnight blue metallic from the twin turbo Porsche series or the blue velvet that's on the new Camaros. Both are dark blue. I have a thing for blue and I can't help it.

Nice!
Glad you got it!

Post up some install photos when you get it in.

I am with you on the dark blue, will probably do the same with mine when I get to that point.

For the 91 TTR- I just got to drive mine. Been so insane I haven't had a chance to take it out, so I guess I put gas in it.

For the 89 we got the TH400 in, getting ready to drop it back into the car to fab up the new trans cross member, and then get started on the exhaust manifold I'm doing for it and continue it's path to living again.
