Well, not today...

So, no oil pressure. Turns out that I managed to get the feed and return lines crossed going to the remote filter mount, so the anti-backflow valve in the filter kept me from getting any pressure. Fixed that, and now it's pissing oil onto the ground from the front of the block, so it looks like I miss this summer driving season. I think I know where the problem is though, so maybe another kick at the can this year... Or not.

Heard a really loud hissing sound around my intake manifold and I started getting a rough/weak idle. So I decided to install my silicone hose kit.

Hissing is now louder and the car dies on idle. Probably a cracked intake manifold. Great!

My hissing issue that started after I replaced all of my hoses was actually a bad throttle body gasket that I didn't notice till I was able to hold pressure.

Thank you, my plan today is to check all the gaskets and lines further. Hopefully I find the culprit.

Mine isn't stronger thats for sure. They were packaged great, i doubt it's from shipping. Feels like a screwdriver was taken to the block surface, they are pretty deep!

Those pistons... are the salvageable?
I doubt it specially with how much boost he's running.

I bought two new turbine clamps, the type on the right:

My OEM ones had pitted bolts from rusting, so I think I trust a new aftermarket one a little more.
