I dropped my car off at a local shop to have brand new 4" exhaust from the turbo back. I'm also getting new cold side intercooler pipes made from 3" aluminum. Should look good when he's done. Once I get it back, I'm going to try and replace all of my bushings. Can't wait.

disassembled my Previa calipers and soaked them in dish soap all day, it's pretty obvious to me that I'm gonna have to hone them to clean them up. But I've got all the grease off of them and they cleaned up pretty well

also went and picked up a non-burnt-to-a-crisp 3.91 LSD diff today, just a few more things and it will be ready for me to pick up. needs to be cleaned up and ill probably paint it before installing it. what type of paint would be suggested to use?

Are the previa calipers some sort of an upgrade?

More of a "side grade" they only increase piston area by 9% so it's not really worth running out and doing unless you are already replacing your calipers (like me). But I think they look better and are not as rediculous looking as a single piston caliper on the front of our cars

Well today I finished rebuilding my calipers

And painted my diff

(No chance of missing a leaking diff in that color)

Also over the weekend I ordered a whiteline sway bar, EBC redstuff pads, JZA70 brake ducts, poly steering rack bushings, steering rack spacers, and a new targa tool :)

I pick up my car from MO next week

hi guys. its been a while since i was here last time.. supra has been sitting for a while with head removed becase i had my hands full of other things like planing weddings etc so not so much time and money to spend on supra... but yesterday did check surfice of the block since Cometic gasket showed some burn marks on the surface. so i thought maybe it was the block that caused gasket to blow because gasket itself looks in good shape.

to machine block - do you need to take it all apart? pistons, crank, seals, covers etc?

Alex thats MK4 right?

P.S. got new daily :p
1995 eclipse GS-T (turbo FWD) still not as fast as my supra so cant wait to get it back on road....

video is from first start, after I installed my new turbo.

I will make a separate thread where I introduced my Supra.

greetings
Alex
Good progress, i really like your hard lines for what i'm assuming is boost/vacuum on your turbo outlet.

Just got the car and did my first work on it. Replaced the brake pads and rotors, they were super rusted and started squealing while just driving normally. First ever project car, so it was a learning experience, especially getting the back rotors on over the parking brake. Took it out for a short spin afterwards though, and they're smooth as butter now. Gotta get the body work done now, and a fresh new coat of paint.
