So I had a little R&R from work and decided to have some quality time with the supra lol I had enough of just one speaker working so I tore her down ordered some 6.5" components to make use of my Kevin M speaker pods I got. I bought some kicker speaker wire to replace the RCA crap wire I used before. Omg what a difference it made on audio quality! But the door pannel covers most of the speaker(need to get a pic) may need to find a set of 91-92' door panels. Saw someone(can't remember who) do this as well made a big difference
did an oil change and rotated my tires. After some regular driving last night I went to get coffee this morning coming back home I started getting a really loud knock around 2-25k DAMN
limped it home checked to make sure I didn't loose oil. Pressure was lower than normal but idk how much I trust that gauge lol. Oil was fine can't think of what would cause it to knock besides it just being tired and something failed the knock is coming from #1 I think it's just time to do a rebuild I got a spare motor and head anyways. So here she'll sit while I get source what all I need.
Anyone in the DFW know any reputable machine shops in the area?
