speaking about 6 puck clutches i have one on my supra (first time using one)and so far I’ve only put 500miles on it and it chatters quit a bit so i was wondering if these 6 puck clutches begin to smoothen out after a while. This is my first experience with a 6 puck clutch and i don’t really like the high revving engagement

Are you using stock or lightweight flywheel? My stage 4 6-puck is much easier to operate and is practically chatter-free after switching from a lightweight to stock.

I'm using a stock flywheel. and it seems to be too aggressive for my taste. i rev the car up to 2500-2800 to get off 1st gear smoothly

Installed my CXracing/Driftmotion exhaust yesterday; before that I've been running a Driftmotion open downpipe since March and pissing off my neighbors. However, I flipped the mid-pipe with the resonator around toward the back today.

Unfortunately, I have not heard it yet because I'm in the process of replacing all of my seals (oil leaking before) in the front of the motor (cam, oil pump drive and front main seals; as well as valve cover gaskets). Maybe I'll throw a video up when its back up and running.

Took a trip down memory lane as I was clearing some space in the garage for my air compressor. It's been almost 3 years now what a journey.

Here is my 21 gal compressor I need to build a mounting area for the reel on the wall then install the reel and should be all set.

finally started afrer changing HG and everything in head. i think i have some vac leak or some bad seal and something is wrong with cooling. the tubes that comes out of th cly 6 (upper and lower 90 degree ) gets VERY hot. tommarow will try to take termostat out and see if thats my problem.

and now i have code 32 allthough before didnt have any codes. check engine light after little while comes on as well.
ufffff.... 4 more days to fix everything before first supra meet in 2years :D

i did remove EGR so 32 code could be for ''VSV Plug for EGR'' right?

Removing the tstat will not make the car run any cooler as there will not be enough restriction in the flow so the coolant doesn't stay in the radiator long enough to cool properly.

Doat I have the same compressor. It doesn't run high consumption air tools very well like air ratchets, air saws and die grinders. Impacts are hit and miss, I have one that runs fine but 2 of my others just kill the compressor.

Ok i understand but i feel that there is no flow at all. Because fluid in radiator is cold but thise 6 cylinder tubes gets so hot that cant hold my hand on them. At the same time engine temp gauge was just 1/4 rised (usually i had it @ 1/2 )

Any ideas?

I want to mainly use it for impact wrenches to take off like crank bolts and suspension stuff if this doesn't hold up then I'll upgrade to a bigger one maybe build a shed or something and soundproof it.

Final tune done... got my "safe" tune. Any higher and I risk problems. Happy with this power level. Definitely have to get new rubber though as my Yokohama's don't hold well enough.

We could go higher, but on 91 Octane (which is arguably 91, could be lower) if I run with higher boost I start getting up into the "questionable" area where spark/timing becomes dangerous. I want the engine to last forever (and its not on a track) so this power level will suffice. :)

Never heard of such a thing on that theory it won't stay in the engine long enough to heat up!
