Look up the Drew rixxer suspension mod. I think it's rixxer anyway. But in that thread the author made his own coilovers for cheaper than buying a set.

I think it was gixxer. Anyway, I'm pretty sure he did his for a MK4 supra, but the same basic concept would still apply to a MK3. I'm contemplating doing something like this when I redo my suspension at some point.

I will remove the plastidip today to bring back the silver finish

Nice, I think they will look much better silver. I'm not too big on black wheels.

I ran a set of Megan coilovers on my old prelude and was disappointed ended up switching to a ground control system then ultimately to a tein setup. Had ksport on an old integra and it was a good street setup. But I don't know if they market anything for mkiii supras or supra in general.

Silver I agree. I'm thinking of doing the same and pairing with a sway bar set from whiteline.

Thanks I will check that out. I managed to cross thread one wheel stud when putting my stock rims back on I have to get a hex dye kit and fix it.

I used to have a bad problem of that on my crv until I changed all studs out for arp. It seemed that no matter what I did a lug nut would cross thread even hand starting and threading a little more than half way. Might want to check into those. I've been debating on it when I get aftermarket wheels but I haven't looked to see if they have them for our cars but they should.

Unless they're pressed in just use a big hammer and hit it out through the back. Then put the new one in and use an open faced lug nut and some washers to pull it in place

I finally got done with removing the plastidip took a few hours and my hands are stained even after scrubbing with fast orange multiple times.

The pics didn't show the imperfections very well when they were black in person they look much better without the plastidip.

Black, especially plastidip, can either look great or really cheap. It seems like there's not much between.

I never saw your wheels black, but I think they look good silver. Throw em on the car and post another pic!

I plan to mount them tomorrow after I get 245s for the fronts still a bit worried about the one stripped lug stud but should be fine if I don't drive crazy going to get that fixed asap. I bought a die kit to try and re-thread it and it worked for the most part but there was still a gap where it would be 2 threads > messed up threads > and the rest of the threads, so the lug nuts would get stuck on the messed up thread part. Bought a new stud from Rockauto earlier, so when that comes in I'll get it fixed.
