fine tuned the fitment of the new front to back lines;

fuel pressure/return, rear brakes, evap canister

pain in the ass but likely to last another 25 years...

Anyway- Today was raining, so rather than replace the front ball joints on my MR2, I fabbed up a knock sensor rewire kit.
I've had a pair of newer style knock sensors, well, knocking around my garage for awhile, so I decided to make a harness for them. I already have a KS rewire kit on my car using the later style sensors, but I figured I'd
make a high quality kit to sell. This one uses two brand new factory plugs, crimped, soldered, heatshrunk, and mesh-sleeved connections. Then I fire-sleeved the main bulk of the harness till it reaches the firewall.
Finished it with a common ground for the rf braiding, and now I'm just waiting on an order of T-taps to finish the signal wire connection to the ecu end.

That settles it. I'm gonna wax my car too. We did my girlfriend's car last weekend, it looks great... hopefully mine looks at least half as good as hers. :D

Completely finished one side of the head. Did the shim shuffle and got the exhaust side done and within spec...

Got the block on the stand, getting ready to degrease and paint...

Looks great! From where?

Is that to my shifter boot? my fathers German mate used to test drive for Opel when the cars came off the factory floor, long story short Germans like to get the job done right, and on time. A friend of his designs clothing funnily enough and she made his whole leather interior in his car as her first car job, oh boy is it amazing. Anyway, the same person made this for me, getting the handbrake one back soon as well

I made my own leather shift boot after some *&^% decided that he needed my stereo more than I did, and cut mine. Always been very happy with it, and since the leather came from the scrap "odds and ends" bin, it was almost as cheap as finding one at the wrecker.

i deleted the 13 repeat posts i had lol, anyway my methanol kit and alarming monitor system is almost done, everything is mounted and wired in i just need to drill and install the nozzle and run the tubing and itll be good to fire up and test. theres about 28 wires between the two components, proud of myself for making it this clean of an install

i installed my rear driftmotion brake lines. i also spent a bunch on new suspension. :(
i ordered kyb gr2's, b&g springs, new mounts and boots. i ended up spending about $600, but $200 of that was for the mounts and boots. my boots were shot and i'm pretty sure the mounts are original. i probably could have done without them, but there's no point doing the job twice. :)

just throwing the numbers out there in case anyone is looking to do the same mods. i spent a good amount of time checking prices on everything. i think i got the best deals that were out there.

put new hood lift supports on

my old ones worked but were not 100% and didn't work if it was cold out unless the car had been driven the heat would make them work

my hood opens on its own by the time i get it half way open again
