I am not sure if that stud is bad or the helicoil gave out. I will know for sure once I have the time to reinstall my downpipe since with this stupid ebay downpipe it's IMPOSSIBLE to put the bottom nut on the exhaust manifold side on unless you put it on first with the downpipe barely going through the turbo studs also you cannot get a socket on it you can barely get an open ended wrench on it. I plan on buying a BIC downpipe anyway but not sure if I want recirculated or open wastegate like the pipe I have on now. I do like how it sounds open wastegate but I wish I could find a video of how it sounds recirculated with a tanabe exhaust. The weird thing is I was able to torque all of the exhaust manifold nuts to 30 ft lbs according to the TSRM specs but I think the leak is from the downpipe due to that one nut I couldn't get on and by the time I noticed I couldn't get that nut on I had everything else bolted up and I was exhaust, so I said screw it I am broken I'll do it later no big deal.
Well, I don't have any of my screws Helicoiled, but I do know a bit about the BIC downpipe because I run an open circulated DDP on my Supra. One word to describe it is "AMAZING" the sound is ridiculous and sounds like an 800+hp Supra. I don't have any video of a recirculated version, but I have some crappy uncirculated video if you want to hear it, although it doesn't provide it any real justice.
