i need to get my hands on new ct26 turbo gaskets.

I just picked some up from toyota a few months ago. Cant remember exactly but they were cheap. Just know all the part numbers before u call. There are always the ebay gaskets for the ct26 too. I have no experience with them, but some look better than others

drivers foot well stuff...

anyone ever notice the difference in early/late gas pedals.?

Is there a difference, I have never heard of one. If you need to know what an 87 one looks like I can grab you a picture.

Today I decided to put my speaker covers back on the door panels. I had been waiting to do this because my speakers have different settings on the tweeter that I had been playing with to see which I preferred. When I put them on I noticed that the amount of bass that the speakers produced definitely improved. I guess putting them back on there made it more like an enclosed box. I hadn't even thought of this until now, but it makes sense at least to me it does. :) Now I can say that I am extremely pleased with my JBLs.

I am planning on getting a set of Tein Flex coilovers in the near future, do I need to upgrade other stuff for this or is it just a swap and enjoy thing?

I would have never guessed that...

What brand are the shocks and springs? I'm sure someone can give you some input.

Today I rolled over 87k miles in my 87 Supra. :) Also, this thread needs more pictures.

I don't have aftermarket shocks, but I have done some research because I'm sure mine will need replacing sometime. I believe the Koni's are considered to be very good shocks, similar to Bilsteins almost. You can search around the forum for "koni shocks" and should come up with several first hand reviews of them. I did a quick Google search for "P1010A supra" and every thing that came up appeared to be in German. There isn't a brand or anything on them?

Just finished taking out my stock cat-back exhaust on my 88' 5sp Turbo. My car was completely stock before this and was WAY too quiet for my taste. Its much louder now and is definitely noticeable. This will satisfy me right now till I get a full exhaust; planning to go with driftmotion/cxracing exhaust and downpipe. I left the catalytic converter on though.

Anyone thing I should take that off as well?

going to try mount them, see about modifying the armature. the z31 lights look to be about half the height of the stock supra lights, but still have the same factory look of that era

OK, I didn't realize that those cars don't use the same sealed beams that the Supras used. It makes sense to me now. Sounds like an interesting project.

yeah I just ordered new glass housings for now to see how they fit. I may order the front retainers for them and make custom mounts for the rear. I'm assuming they're the same width. I also think the bulbs plug into the existing harness as well.

It may not be legal to remove your cat, but if your going 3" you should get a 3" cat as well. I removed mine only because legally I can and I only drive 3-5000 km a year. (If lucky) plus it gets people angry... Lol

Check the link out. There's no reason not to keep the cat really. I would have if I had thought of it. MK3's do not monitor the cat so it has no effect on performance if you leave it on or off, however, if your going 3" exhaust (and its illegal to run without one where you live) then you should not use the stock one but replace it with the high flow one.
