I've raced 2 different JZ cars one 1J one 2J with the same results..

I'm just playing around guys, no need to throw in the white towel IBoughtASupra. I'm not advocating 7M over JZ at all. I wouldn't mind having a 1J or 2J (I actually planned on doing a 2J swap) and yes they ARE a better platform out-of-the-box, but I've just chosen to build the 7M at this point. I won't need to rev to 9500

Eh, I dunno about you, but I've never lost to anything that had ONLY more torque than me. Now, the guys with way more HP *and* torque, that's a different story.

Yeah, not too many turbo vehicles NEED to rev that far, but come on, does anyone really NEED more than 300-400hp? Probably not, but it's certainly nice to have the option, right?
