Rear seats, passenger seat, spare tire and the jack. Is this a DD or a track car? If its a track car, take out the A/C and everything that goes with it. To get extreme Ive seen people cut the dash in half or even make their own for the driver section only, lighter than hell. Get a carbon fiber hood and head light covers. If you have a wing, remove it. Ummmm what else can I think of...

possibilities:

lighter driveshaft, flywheel and wheels for the driveline

down to bare metal in the inside with 2 seats

all hvac components gone, carbon/fibreglass hood, lexan for windows

recommendations:

carbon hood

all driveline parts and full interior w/ hvac

I've heard of ppl removing the rear brakes... it's only 20% of your stopping power anyway.

AGlobalThreat got his Supra down to 3000 lbs. His dash is completely hallow, along with everything else that he can. The interior weighs about 200 lbs, but don't remove it because then the car looks like a track car (trust me, I've done it). As they said, replace parts like the driveshaft, flywheel, lug nuts, wheels, hood and anything else you can think of with lighter components.

Lol..thats funny...

Well if you are deadly serious about the weight issue, replace all thre bolts and nuts with titanium ones.

heavy = nice ride

if you want it faster, push more boost

if you want it to handle, get a better wheel/tire combo

if you want it to stop faster, get a BBK

I like my pig, comfort at 120mph is nice... If you want lightweight...this isn't your car IMHO
