A turbo K20 or F22 would be a better idea because they're a lot lighter, otherwise aluminum block v8. However, if you plan on trying to extract 700whp like the JGTC guys did, then the 3S was the better option IMO (for 4cyl).

turbo k-series shits out over 400whp at 10psi. I wouldnt waste my time with an outdated 3s.

I still want to stick an S14 VVT SR20DET into a MKIII just to piss a few people off. I would do it too... if the price of VVT SR20's wasn't so damn high. When an SR20 costs more than a 2JZGTE something is wrong in the world.

I am warming up to the LS motors though... especially since I saw an LS1 w/ harness and ECU for sale for $2500 a few days ago. I didn't know they went that low in price.

SR20 is weak at higher power levels...
