Ahhh, but I didn't say what the majority of people would do - just a very sad few.

Again, I would challenge you to show me "responsible" meth use. For things in which there is absolutely no value to society what-so-ever, make it illegal.

What value does ALCOHOL provide to society?

(I mean... ASIDE from the fact that the more alcohol I have, the less clothing I seem to be able to find afterward...)

I can still reply that many places around the world, specifically in Northern Europe, have legalized drugs.
That isn't much of an argument.

Jesus drank wine. He said everything is for our use. And he said don't abuse it. He said don't be a drunk, he didn't say don't use it. I think not being a drunk pretty much covers it.

And that does not mean man made chemicals are a good idea. They should be controlled.

Pot is not man made.

Probably pretty close to 80 percent of my grade smokes a lot of pot on a weekly basis.

40 percent of my grade is involded in other drugs. E, meth, coke, and a bunch of other stuff.

The war on drugs is something to keep "them" busy all day.

You can't stop drugs.

I'm all for prohibition honestly, fuck drugs / cigs /alcohol.

I don't like people driving Civics. Should we ban that, too?

There's a lot of things I don't like, but just because a few people don't like something, is it any reason to make sure NO ONE does it?

Not terribly logical, are ya?

Like something? It kills more people in america per year then almost anything. However, prohibition didn't work anyway, so I wasn't completely serious. If anything I guess I "wish" people made the choice to just not do any of them, a real logical choice. It's not a mater of like or dislike, there is no benifit to society from it, only big problems.

The government could make so much money off of legalizing marijuana it's ridiculous. On top of all that money spent on the "war on reality", they spend even more money processing and/or incarcerating those 600,000+ people caught with pot, not to mention clogging up the whole legal system. Alcohol is far more damaging then pot for people who abuse it.

I smoked weed all through high school and look at me :crazy1:
