Does anyone have pics of MK4 rims with spacers in front? mainly NA rims. I am thinking of a 10mm or a 15mm spacer since I rub and want a more flush look.

I have a set of 8mm spacers on the front wheels. I was able to keep the stock wheel studs and it helped with the sunken in look of the Mk4 wheels. These would look better if they were out another 10mm but then you would need extended the studs.

This is the best pic I have without taking one specifically for it (it's dark out).

So it would look better at about 20mm?

I think that would help it to look better but if you do that you encounter more problems. As you increase the size of the spacer, there are greater shearing forces put on the lugs themselves. Spacers are also hard on your wheel bearings. It is really up to you but I felt I could live with the wheels not being perfect.

if you get spacers that are less than 25mm, then make sure the wheels you are going to use have enough "relief" for the cars studs and the lugs that hold the spacer on. i believe our studs are 1 inch (=25.4mm) so a 25mm spacer will fit even if there is no refief holes in the wheel. a 20mm spacer will need a relief 5mm deep and 22mm in diameter.

heres a pic to make it clearer.

of course, if the spacers dont have built in studs then this is not an issue

Looks like I sold my exhaust so i have some money for rear spacers too. What do you guys think would look nice for the flush look? maybe 10mm?

if using the mk4 tt rims, then a 20mm spacer in front and a 8-10mm spacer in the rear should give a close to flush look without rubbing.

im currently putting together a wheel offset guide so i had the numbers infront of me.
