ok i have an 87 supra which is n/a and well i've seen alot of walboros for sale... ok my question is, is there any difference between the n/a walboro and the turbo walboro.. and if not which one do you guys think is best.

Mods are pretty much a stock 1j with just a boost controller and a 3" exhaust. trying to upgrade fuel before i go tune... thanks guys

I think they only offer one type of Walboro... and if they do offer two different types which I've never seen before, get the Turbo one..

Wait, so you had an NA, that you swapped a TT 1JZ into?

The way you word it, it seems like you have a NA 1J

Either way the Walbro 255 is a universal application, if you get the kit for the Supra it will work on Turbo or NA.

I ran my 1j on the 86.5 na pump for a year and a half and it was ok. It leaned out alot in the upper rpms and it was noticeable. Still would get up and go:biglaugh: .

There's many walbro's, not just one:
GSS242, GSS250, and GSS278 are 190 lph models
GSS307, GSS315, and GSS317 are 255 lph models
GSS340, GSS341, and GSS342 are 255 lph high-pressure models, also called the 255 lph HP

You want the GSS341 like said above.

feels nice but towards higher rpms it tends to feel restricted... i was looking at the walboro 255lph.

you should consider getting a new afpr if you are thinking about upgrading to a 255. ?? ?? ??

along with bigger injectors and properly sized lines. You may also want to look into modifying the fuel rail if neccessary (feed on each end return in the middle

Stock lines and rail can support a large amount of power before needing to be modified.
