After replacing a head gasket I have now encountered this problem. My vacuum gauge reads 18in hg and when I hit 8psi of boost I hit fuel cut. Which to me sounds like a vacuum/boost leak but I have done a boost leak test on it and have been unsucsessful on finding it. So from there I went to my shop and picked the smoke machine and then smoke tested my intake system and once again unable to find any leak. PLEASE HELP ME!?!?!?::aigo:

An evap smoker isn't exactly the best. If you have a small hole, it will be closed up until positive pressure is put in the intake. 18 inches of vacuum isn't actually that bad. So the hole is very small.
make a boost leak tester. shouldn't cost more than a few bucks. holmes depot has the parts you need.

or carby cleaner, spray near manifold and listen for rpm increase, its how i found my leak...
on my new motor i just took the time to coat all the paper gaskets in high temp silicon to fill in any small imperfections to avoid this in the future.
