But it's not going to make 500whp without race gas reguardless of what turbo you run, and the gt35r would be about the right size to do it.
You will need well over 20psi, and on pump gas that's pushing it.
Although, once you have driven a 400whp 1jz I think you will be satisfied, and a 57trim ct26 should be able to do that.

maybe i'll go with a gt4088 then
i'd like to have a gt4067 but im not spending over 1K on a turbo
from what I've seen usually slower.. due to heavy wheels & larger shafts.. the hype isnt there as far as power from what i've seen.. the 66mm ones from what I've seen (look like 2-3 months back) was making on par power with a 67..mattjk said:well, he said 950 for any s300 or s400 series. spool is claimed to be better because of the extended tips.

SuprA70 said:I made ~300rwhp @ 8 psi... this was during the 1JZ's break-in period. However, in my haste, I made the mistake of just reusing the same turbo (which was freshly rebuilt) from when I originally rebuilt my 7M.
It blew a mere month later after being run at 21psi (constant abuse :evil2 for about a week. I was supposed to dyno that following Saturday.
I've since decided to go with a newly rebuilt 57 trim, so we'll see how it does when I get scheduled back for some quality time on the dyno :biglaugh:
I'm not shooting for more than 400+ for now, so the upgraded ct26 is sufficient.
