I think those 1000+ dollar upgraded twins are a waste of money... Well, maybe waste is a bad word but that money could be used better elsewhere.

I wouldn't count on the twins, upgraded or not, getting you 500rwhp. They're still pretty small.

Not sure if you'll be able to fit a boss turbo on the CT26 adapter manifold either... You might as well go with a full manifold at that point, IMO. Aaron would know that better than me though.

Just some thoughts.

I agree, a buddy did one and he was having problems with surging. The upgraded twins will fight each other after 14 psi.. He had it for a bit and went single.
I asked why do they work so well on the RB and it's because the RB26 has ITB. On the 2jz HKS twins they have a few tricks to make it work buts not practical if you are on a budget. It will become costly if don't do the work yourself.

Pump gas is pump gas. Don't be all whiney just because cali sticks you guys with 91. If I can roll up to the local gas station and fill my tank with 100 octane, that's pump gas to me.

100 octane and 110 octane is considered race gas whether it comes from a can or a pump, and that is directly reflected in the price. Seems to me like it's just a creative way for people to exaggerate how much horsepower their engine makes on pump gas. There are a few gas stations in my area that offer race gas......from a pump.

If you want #'s on a certain octane, then ask what octane.. but otherwise.. i'll let you know what ppl have made on pump gas using the highest available octane nozzle that fits in the side of their car from a gas station.

but theoretically ALL gas is PUMP gas cause they are ALL pumped at some point or another, be it from the ground when its oil or into the truck to be transported

funny, thats what i would say about holset turbo's, as they do everything equally if not better then their name brand counterparts.

Don't play stupid. Pump gas refers to 91-93 and you know it.

If your car had 1000rwhp and you could pump C16 from a station, would you claim you made 1000hp on pump gas? No. I hope not.

I have 100 in my tank right now that came from a pump but it's not pump gas as we use the term.

have you looked into the borg warner bullseye turbos? a buddy of mine works at JE, and said he could get me a good deal on one. the largest S300 series turbo.
