Ok here is th deal.... I bought a clean .90 Targa shell no engine.... story goes it was owned by an older lady and ~ 7 years ago it caught the bhg virus so she took it to a shop .... after she couldn't afford to fix it it sat for ~ 4 years the guy that bought it from her had it for 3 years lost the engine because it was "stolen" from th guy that was fixing it .... so now its mine awesome clean car .... no engine ..... I plan on putting my whole setup in it as my 88 has a branded California title ... I love how some of your guys engine bays are super clean... so I guess my question is what can I do away with and what Can I hide where???

drilling a hole near the throttle cable will allow you to run your harness through there and along the inside of the dash. This will clean it up a bit having the harness tucked from sight.

Do either of these posts add anything helpful to the question asked????????

My car had it's fuse box dropped into the wheel well with it's previous owner. I put it back where it goes, and still have the bracket used to hold it, if you are interested. Also, DO NOT remove the EGR or Charcoal Cannister in your quest for a clean bay. They are both there for good reason, but people delete both sometimes. You can use a Charcoal Cannister from another vehicle that doesn't use such a bulky one IIRC.

So i can hide half my harness and maybe my fuse box and get rid of cruise control....still debating that last 1... heard of people switching coil packs to coil on wire ... are there any advantages/ disadvantages to that???

Yes.

He wants a more "clean", good looking car. It doesn't how tidy the bay looks if it looks like he's skating on Band Aids.
