Two stepping?

So, I'm kinda electronically retarted. How can I install the MSD box? or is that MSD box specifically for 2 stepping?
My guess is they are universal and you have to make them work.... Which I dont know what to do..

geez. here's some facts:

-only a few ways to 2 step w/the stock ECU: MSD DIS 4 and MAP ECU. a separate aftermarket rev limiter engaged momentarily may work as well....

-the phil long 2 step for the MKIV will NOT work.

-2 stepping shouldn't damage your turbo or manifold, true anti-lag will.

Hmm, s383mmber just told me it will eventually kill my turbo.. So your sure it wont hurt it? Sorry for the dumb question, I just want to be sure..

Yes it is. If you can build boost off the line, you will gain time (if you have slicks) You will blow off the street tires so don't bother with that.

PS: I haven't seen any turbos blow due to antilag/2step. I ran a 2 step on mine for years. (Now have antilag )

a MSD ignition digital-6 plus, programmable 2 stage rev- limiter, high speed retard, and cd ignition, you can also hook up a linelock. will also work for 4,6,8 and odd cylinders...
