So someone school me about the afterfixingBHG process. Is it ok for it to blow white smoke out still? I'm guessing it will go away? (It still could be the car being not warmed up plus 20 degree weather but I'm just paranoid) Do I need to find a timing gun and do that jammy?

Only problems I have now are that the timing belt is a little loose causing it to come up and hit the timing cover when I give it some gas. Its not loose enough to skip any teeth though.
And my idle is at 1500 rpms.

Thoughts on these problems?

I would be replacing the tensioner for sure. Also, did you smell the exhaust? I'd bet it's just condensation and you are driving yourself crazy.;)

I would say it's a few things the fact that you had a bhg and the motors cleaning itself out,and the fact that it's hella cold.

heres what you should do let the car run outside for about 30 minutes and than bring it in the shop shut the door(but leave it open a bit) and let it run for about 2 minutes.see what happends than

Ahhhh it drives and it drives well! I drove it around for like 30-45 min. today and no overheating, no smoking, no weird noises, no leaks, no oil pressure issue, no idle issue, and everything works....Wooot! Ahhh I'm soo excited. I can't believe I pulled this off!

Congrats bro, now enjoy it :)

Exactly. It getting H&R coils(found out it has KYB struts on it) and some 25mm wheel spacers and thats it. Maybe some small stuff other than those things but that's pretty much it.

They are Eibach spacers and they are about....free. Look up Project Kic spacers. They're a good brand about $200 or a little more for all four. You're gonna want 5x114.3 and for normal people a 10mm(wheel will now be +28) spacer would look pretty good. The ones I got are +25mm (brings the wheel out to +13 offset) which is pretty aggressive and will definitely need to roll the fenders and maybe a slight pull.

PS: Your gonna wanna search for bolt-on spacers. None of that slip-on stuff.

I see.I might do this.I'm guessing your keeping the stock white wheels.I have the same wheels just not in white and I do think they sit to far back in the wheel well

p.s. is that you welding your diff?
