I'm putting a 7mgte together at the mo and the ct26 has had it, i was intending on keeping the standard turbo with the intention of upgrading later.
however, as i'm going to have to have it rebuilt/get a new one, i was wondering if it's worth upgrading now?
i'm aiming for around the 400bhp mark at the crank but of course i want to avoid the turbo lag, i've seen guys with a 60 trim ct26 but from what i have read this may be too big for my needs/very laggy i have also seen a t4 with a 60 comp wheel and i suspect this is the same situation as the 60 trim?
i have also read about a 57 trim ct26, would this suit my needs or would a standard ct26 flow enough for me??
if someone could point me in the right direction of something that would suit my needs then that would be great, and as usual price is also a factor.
