I could make some out of aluminum. The titanium one will never leave my sight, you don't want to know what that peice of metal cost.

How much? I'm not kidding or wasting your time. I don't want to build my motor without one. I don't want the inconvenience of renting one and I can't find one north of the border anyways. Shoot me a PM and let me know.

I figure if I buy one I can loan it to the locals in Toronto and save them the trouble.

I'm going to make mine out of steel. It will be cut on a CNC mill already have the CAD program made.It will also be machined ground true. I also have a Block and head lapping plate which is also ground true.

Ok, guys here are some teaser pictures of my Torque Plate. It goes to the machines tomorrow to get all the holes cut and drilled out. I'm making it for .60 over. Once I'm done with it I will be renting it out.

Why .60 over? Why not .40, since anything including and over that is making the block too weak, IMO.

Why not .080" over like they do in Japan?
I see a lot of old GTEs over there that there were no weakness issues with.....
HKS, JUN, and others make 85mm pistons + oversizes to do this.
I have a set of 85mm pistons made in Germany (probably for Blitz),
that I got out of Japan.
They refer to them as 3.1 liter pistons.

I like the Titanium idea,
shipping it back and forth would be a Lot Less !
Let me know when your going to start renting it,
I have a block to do.
