Bought this car for $800 about two years ago - took a year to get it going and have been very happy with it since.

Damn that thing looks good man, the more white supra's i see the more iam leaning toward white to paint mine.

Are you talking about machine work? Or working on the car installing stuff, cause most of us do it all ourselves. I won't let a mechanic touch my car anymore.

just wondering... i do some myself but I mostly let the guys at Carma Performance in Nashville do the majority of it... always had good and they know all supras VERY well - dyno tuning as well...

maybe a meet as well, i know that it's been thrown around but maybe of the a group of nashville (or relativey close) mkiii's started to get together then a bigger group meet would be easier - if not just for a good local showing?

i have the chance to buy my 86.5 supra back. only problem, the HG is bad on it. i am wanting to do a 1jz or 2jz swap in it. anyone got a full swap available and willing to help me get it done? i'm deployed right now but my brother is in clarksville. just pm me and let me know so i can figure out if i can sneak this under my wife's nose and get a "new" supra. any help is appreciated

Upgrades to Car: bought the car as a rolling shell for $500. Currently building a 1.5jz for the car with built R154 transmission, Haltech PS2000 EMS, twin bosch 044 pumps, and other goodies. Haven't decided on turbo yet, but shooting for ~850-900whp on race gas, and ~550-600whp on 93 pump. Need to get the car repainted and looking for volunteers to help :1zhelp::icon_bigg

haven't touched the car since i brought it home. Basically got it home then was told i was going to texas until feb. So, had my gf snap some pictures of it for me.
