I'm trying to remember the video I was watching that had a perfect example... but I'm really forgetfull.
I've heard people equate it to a whip cracking. I really like it, there were a few guys in Vancouver that had them... I'm going to get one eventually.

i got a turboxs RFL BOV and i dont really like its sound. sometimes early in the morning it sounds like it gurgling when i blow off, but then it gets better. i guess if i had more than 8psi then the woosh would sound sweeter..

Might want to check out Driftmotion for their Tial copies - could save you some cash and apparently they're exact copies.

It has a big 2" piston so it just sounds like air rushing out. The bigger the turbo the louder it will be. If you have an afm I would not recommend it. I have seen the same one on a 1500hp twin turbo v8, and it was sufficent enough for that even.
Cant you get them with real small springs. Since I dont plan on running 34908573489056347895893475683475 pounds of boost and only want 300 horses.

The RS bov has the little blue horn you can unscrew and put a pipe in it to recirculate, the Tial vents out around the body of it so you couldn't recirculate it.
