So I've been having problems with my tps, and I thought it was a bad tps, I got a new one, and I'm still not getting a reading on my MAFT Pro. With the tps plugged in, I get a reading of 0.00 at all positions, and when I Unplug it, it goes to 0.12. Anyone have any suggestions ? Thanks

My car is an 87 turbo with MAFT PRO in speed density mode.

Go back through the Maft's settings and make sure that they are correct.

Have you done any firmware upgrades to the pro recently?

I'm not sure about the old one , it was one from autozone or somewhere like that. So I got a toyota one, and it tested good. I also checked the vta wire, from the tps connector to the maft pro and it was at .8 ohms.

Assuming that your TPS is good and set properly, verify the Maft's connections. If you're familiar with a DVM, you can check the voltage at the ECU to rule out a failure in the Translator. Mine reads .48v pedal up and 3.48 pedal down.

Really, there are too many variables to continue guessing...

It kind of has tems. The wiring and everything it there, bu not the actuators. You mean turn the key on and immediately floor the petal?

Other reasons I know something is wrong with the tps is, it runs the same when it is unplugged and plugged in, irratic idle, runs rich, and hesitates.

Lmao. Such "minor" details can be helpful. Any codes? There should be. Yeah, just push the pedal down quickly halfway or more. As long as the TEMS computer is there the lack of actutors doesn't matter. Or just measure VTA...
