small update, been swamped at work so haven't had much time but things are still getting done. hoping to at least crank it this weekend but we will see how things go because ill be doing stuff with the miss' for her bday...but that doesnt mean i cant work on my car after she pass' out lol :lol:

being im doing a 1.5jz and the deck higth of the 1jz vs the 2jz is different i had to make this bracket so my dipstick would stay in place

pumped the old fuel out...and was safe about it...

then filled it with pump and fired it up...this video was taken yesterday but the first start up was Friday night Albert has video of that. i had left my clutch fork in so the "first" start up sounded a little odd lol. i also needed to clean things up a bit as well in the garage before i took a real video haha

oil pressure was my main concern but looks good, will go modified 2j pump later on down the road to bump it up a bit more.

as you car hear its missing on cylinders 3 and 4. still not 100% sure whats going on, checked coils and am getting spark and the fuel injectors are clicking as well. next thing im going to check is the physical timing on the motor to see if its just set way out or something.
 
well lastnight i went to harbor freight and picked up a spark tester so i could 100% check that spark wasn't my issue. I also did a quick compression test on cylinder 3 (one of the ones thats not firing) and it was above 145 on a bad crank so i ruled that out, by bad crank i mean low volts 11.64 to be exact and only turned over maybe 2 full revolutions before the battery was too low for cranking. only comes down to one thing left and its injectors...

injectors out and ready to get sent out, hoping to drop them off at 11 today and get them back today as well.

Sounds like something my dad would say...............lol. I told him I wanted to get rid of my project Camaro, he keeps referring to me as a ricer.
