bell housing is the stock auto bell for the motor mated with an adapter plate for the W58 tranny.

coils are i beleive any year F4I CBR 600

and yes the bay needs alot of attention as far as cleaning goes lol. futue plans are single turbo, but untill then i think some nitrous will do the trick for a bit.

as for the sound, think of your typical mustang with exhaust and thats about what it sounds like, just a little more intake noise at higher RPMs

thanks for the comments guys. lmk if you have any more questions.

I didnt catch what flywheel your running?
also more info on the coil on plugs would be helpfull...
what did you have to do to make it work?
or if you have a link you could post to the info that would be cool too!

its a modified 5SFE aluminum flywheel and clutch setup. the holes to bolt to the crank were machined a small amount to line up. there are a few other ways of doing this, but thats just what mine is running.

as for the coils the MSD box is what makes them work correctly, they are a CDI type of coil and the MSD DIS-4 is a CDI control box. other than that its just wiring them up correctly. i dont know of any posts with info regarding this, as my car is the only one i know of running these coils. im sure there maybe more running them but nun I know of.

btw I think cj was using the same cop setup.

that is correct. and this being his old car then that still makes my statement accurate. Jake is soon going to be using them, but not on the car yet.

no more love for the V8 car? lol i know its not everyones "cup of tea" :)

Have you done anything to it?

Have you posted an update or a vid?

Did you do the work on it or just bought it this way?

Has anything at all changed since post #1?

Most people wouldn't even click the thread to look, you need to do something to generate interest if that's what you're seeking, if a thread is popular and regularly updated people will look but don't expect too many to post.

To give you an example in a 4000 post thread of mine only 147 individuals posted and a lot of them only a single post but I still see that as a good result!

It's all about content, provide it and people will show interest.

Just because it's a V8 Supra doesn't really cut it these days people are blase ;)

i washed it since post #1... lol

ill try to get some video of it tonight and try to post it up tomorrow. my buddy will be out with his HD recorder so ill get him to take a clip of it for you guys.

also i got the car with the swap already done, ive changed a few things around since i got it. as for the mounts causing vibrations its not solid mounts, they have urethane inserts, so there isnt really that much vibration. honestly at idle you would never know it wasnt a 7m car haha :)
