You think that the alu shaft will not hold 700 whp? From a dig...:naughty:
The steel one wouldn't be heavier than the Alu shaft?

I hope he (IJ) hears you....lol :biglaugh:
I would be honored for him to come by (in Athens,Greece) and tune my car!
Hey...IJ , Iannis also needs you to tune his 7M-GTE AEM mk2 Supra ...:biglaugh:
Please Ian come by...the weather is almost the same as in Aussie...

Anyway thanks for your kindly words about my single project.
the aluminum ones weigh about 11 lbs. But the steel ones weigh 17 and thats still very light....and especially compared to the stock one. The aluminum ones don't hold up very well i've seen and heard of a few of them break by twisting and sheering. The steel ones are much stouter and the weight increase for the strength increase is well worht it.

Yes. +1. Credit cards sucks :nono:
What you see here is a project / build up from 2004. Never used
a credit card...never will. If I don't have the cash,I'll wait :naughty:
I have a nive pair of seats (interior) that I would like to make it full
leather by 'Conoly'. It costs about $2000 USD. Don't have the $ for now,
cause I am spending money elsewhere. So I'll wait till I got the cash and
do it! :biglaugh:

I just finished with installing the cams,cam gears,new plugs,seals/gaskets
and everything....
The moment I turned the ignition on :aigo: I had NO POWER AT ALL :aigo:
Nothing, not even the door lights :nono:
Unbef***inglievable. Damn, what it could have went wrong :icon_mad:

Well,I forgot the key at the 'ON' position on the ignition switch :icon_surp
And my battery past away
Changed the battery with a new one.Voltage reading was 12.2 V.
I gave it a try,and everything lights up at the standby key position except
the SEL (check engine light).:icon_mad: I could't believe it. No power was
going to the ECU and no power to the fuel system, ignition, coil, etc. :nono:
After 2 hours of checking all electronic components,I found out that
I HAD A BLOWN WIRE (B-R colour / +12V Plus from EFI main relay) at the C1 (gray plug) which is located near the fuse box in the engine bay!! :aigo::aigo:
Couldn't believe my eyes guys.Crazy stuff indeed. :naughty:

I think that this happened cause the battery was (for 3 days) 'drying out' due to the 'ON' position on the ignition switch.
And after blew the B-R wire at the conection where I did the hybrid 7M/2JZ wirring for my 2jzgte swap.

Tomorrow I am going to fix it up for GOOD! :biglaugh:
I am going to make sure that every wire over there will be isolated and
covered with (double) wirring loom protector.:biglaugh:

Has anybody experienced anything like that before?
Near the C1 plug,it is located the oil filter due to an oil filter relocation kit.
Maybe the heat from the oil filter could have done this...is it possible?

The only difference is that you'll have to put more money/time on the 7M
than the 2JZ. I left the block as it was.. stock. I just freshened up the 2jz head with new seals gaskets and did some valvetrain upgrades for future
high revving (8000-8200 rpms). So..it's doable with the 7M no problem.
I went 2jz cause there is NO machine shop overhere with the knowledgement
and high tech machinery to play with a 7M supra motor  Which is a
very tight tollerance motor and a small mistake on it's build up will lead to
disaster :naughty:
But in the end both motors (7M & 2JZ) need $$$$ for a 700whp range power!

Also a nice mod to the rear lights. I installed some red leds..two stripes of
45cm each. Black colored as my carbon sheet add on (regulus look). They are very bright looking leds! Very coooooool
I will make a video soon, cause pictures can't tell how nice/cool they are!

Yeah, I had a lot of machining done on my block plus forged rods and pistons so I could do the high power. I still havent decided whether I want to do the high revving yet so the valvetrain is still stock as is the rest of the car. But you have to cool 2J swap factor lol

Also, you'll have to do some work on the crank's counterweights...
and like you said about the valvetrain... for high revving issues.Cause
the 7M has allready to much stroke which limits the revs :naughty:
Though,it produces a lot of torque :biglaugh:

Fuel kit almost ready....

Sard rail with the 1000cc saturated injectors

p1471798_1.jpg

Custom fuel pump hanger: Dual stock -5 AN lines from the pumps
and out from the hanger to a -8 AN fitting. I am keeping the stock
return line. For the moment I am going with two walbro 255 GSS341
pumps. Just for beggining to see how all parts are working with the single
turbo setup along with the motec M600 ecu . Will be boosting about 13 psi
for the moment, and when everything is ready to boost more than 14 psi I'll
get two high performance 265 ltr/h Sard fuel pumps!
