And another thing, some of you need to learn to drive. If you can't get 380-400 miles on a tank, you are the problem.

Agreed, when i baught my 89 Turbo Auto in boston mass. I got 225 Miles on a half a tank of gas. It was bone stock with 186K miles.

I have 197K now with an intake & exhaust pegged @ 8PSI and i still get the same gas milage when not boosting.

It has been said that the gas tank is 18 Gallons. But on fill up i only get 12 on a fill up on or near E. So i just use that to figure my gas milage.

450 divided by 18 = 25 MPG
450 divided by 12 = 37.5

400 div. by 18 = 22 MPG
400 div. by 12 = 33 MPG

I get any where in between this on a full fill up with out boost :)

I am 5'11" if that is at all relevant, but I would think that my height would be what they should have made the car for, since I am the average height.

I'm 6' 0'' even. The steering wheel can be adjusted. Telescoping so you can sit futher back if you are taller with out extending your arms like if you are riding a chopper. Up and down to prevent the steering wheel from blocking your gauges and comfort. Adjust your wheel and sitting position that fits your needs and you will be set.

I am 6'5" and fit just fine and am extremely comfortable. I find it stunning that a Japanese car from the 80's has better leg room and comfort for tall people than most American vehicles made today, especially my '98 Ranger 4x4!

And you know what I don't like about Supras? The USDM ones didn't come with the 1jz!!!!

How do you guys get that good of gas mileage? Maybe the differentials make a big difference. In my N/A I maxed out at like 340 miles on a tank pushing it to the E.

With the 1J on the 4.30 I rarely get 250 miles a tank, although I dont do much highway driving. I avg. about 16-19 mpg.
