Holy shit our supras are like freaking tanks!!

I got into an accident this morning...i was doing like 15 in traffic and looked to the side for like 1 second and the car in front of me (a Suzuki Arieo) stopped.

All that happened on my car is the bumper got pushed in and i now have sleepy eyes. But the other car got super messed...my friend said "it was like hitting a tin can with a brick" and it really was.

Try T-boning someone at about 40... Glad you're ok though.

Don't kid yourselves guys these little traffic accidents are just a lesson in physics that we win with more mass.

Have a fast accident into something solid and you're dead just like anyone else.

Brick walls fall over pretty easy ;)

It's big solid things like Bridges and Trees that will get ya, and in my case a power pole ;)
(Hands up here who has died in an accident :sadwavey: )

i think as long as you stay on the road u aint gotta worry to much about trees unless one starts growing in the middle of the road and bridges are friendly as long as you drive along them and stay on them unless some dumbass tips your tale and you go spinning

Accidents happen....

I've probably done more miles over 100mph then most kids here have done in total and only ever had 1 accident (just happened to be a monumental one)

My "point" I'm trying to make is NOT to be fooled into thinking the Mk3 is some safe wonder car that you'll walk away from a serious accident due to it's being a "tank".

The car I wrecked in had a full steel welded in cage and harnesses and I was still severly injured.

Not quite tanks.

Tank + bus = Tank with a new paintjob.
Tank + dump truck = Tank that needs a powerwash.

Supra + bus, commercial truck, tank, hell, even a small APC = dead Supra, dead Supra driver, dead Supra driver's wife & kids, probably even dead Supra driver's mom back at her house.

If you looked to the side for 1 second and crashed into the person in front of you, then you were following way too close. You crashed into a SUZUKI ARIEO, it was like hitting a tin can with a brick because thats what it was. Just remember, bricks shatter once you hit them against something tougher.
