Attention: Pics/setups are still needed along with reviews! I'm sure other setups are missing as well. PLEASE REVIEW, even if you don't have pictures up!
Foreword: This is a thread in process/its early stages. I just hope people will contribute. This is what I've gathered so far but its late and need to take a break. I would also really like to gather more information regaurding the setups to even possibly get a general concensus for a given setup. I've included ideas below of what info to give if you are so inclined to contribute. Ultimately I'd like to get this stickied to prevent this never ending thread starting topic with a good collection of the most common combination of setups.
*For the mods: I've put this in general NOT suspension as more people will see it here while i'm compiling info. When more info is gathered, feel free to move it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Motivation: I know everybody asks for pics of every kind of setup all the time. I've been searching for suspension and so has gaboonviper35 and were fed up with not finding a definitive answer on what drops how much and what rides how.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Goal: Create a compilation mostly of pictures of different setups along with general thoughts of the setup. This will greatly help aid the community is what to buy based on their own needs.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Member contributions: Please include LINKS ONLY of pictures of your lowered ride. I will add them to the first post(s) if the setup hasn't already been posted before or your pictures are better. Please include at least one pic of the car from a SIDE view, no wierd angle shots, this only adds confusion. Include as much detail as possible including but not limited to (triple asterisks are required where applicable) -
***Spring type (manufacturer)
***Shock type (manufacturer)
***Coilover type (manufacturer)
***If you have adjustable shocks, what settings are they at?
***Please include how the suspension setup has done so far, ie, stiffer, reliable, have things broken, is it the best setup ever, comfortable ride etc etc
***If your ride has been lightened, guess the approximate weight if you don't know exact.
*Approximate coilover height setting (not sure how this works, never had coilovers)
*Include if you have any other suspension related mods done, ie, swaybars, poly bushings etc.
*Spring rates (if available)
*Manufacture tested spring drop
*Actual spring drop (if you measured before/after; please measure from top of tire to outter lip of body, also be sure to include tire size if you do this)
*Year of vehicle (pre 89 or post, they ride as slightly different heights)
*Wheel/tire size (wheel can cause the appearance of more/less gap in ride height)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: Ill be pulling pics from threads i come across with enough info in them to put them in a category of some type, so if you see your ride, don't be surprised, i'm not stalking you :sarcasm:. Also if you see your ride, pm me some additional information about it please.

Zerocool said:Review: This setup is definately one of the best setups I have ever ran, Not so stiff and not so soft it was just perfect! Nice and tight and with ST front and rear sway bars this setup is as close to track as you can get with out getting uncomfortable. I highly recomind this setup as it is fun around tight turns and mountain pass's.

s0ulstar said:This setup is definately stiffer than stock but still has a stock-like ride quality. It's great for a DD, but falls a little bit short when driving "spiritedly." With a 275 tire up front, a mild roll will eliminate the minimal rubbing issues. It's a great combo for a nice/cheap (money-wise) upgrade.
-It is a progressive spring.

ValgeKotkas said:Have nothing to compare the setup to, but they sure are better than stockers I can say that they are comfortable on the streets. Though if there are any obstacles on the road, then the setup isn't comparable to one of a truck (have noticed, that the stiffness is comparable to the one of a ~91 mr2 (I think he had stock suspension, but who knows), maybe even a bit stiffer). Haven't taken the car to a track yet, but in the city it sits nicely on the road.

Loki said:I love my H&Rs and Blues, its a bit stiff but I really like the ride. The second picture posted was taken about 15 minutes after I finished installing them so it's not settled at all. It got a lot lower. Only reason I'm going to get rid of them is to go coilover so I can go lower.
