Lanternman-My comment was personal, but far short of an attack.

Thanks for your input and I understand what you're saying. I think that my bluntness is often mistaken for something it's not.

DM-My first Christmas in the military was spent in bootcamp. I know where you're coming from.

I was able to go home last year and spend time with my wife (then g/f) and parents. This year I am thanking God that I am here to spend it with my wife after being away from her for the past [nearly] seven months.

This is my second Christmas of five that I will spend with family. I'll be out by next Christmas, so my obligation to the military will no longer affect it by then.

I suppose the Hawaiian hang loose sign is also Satanic becuase it is similar to the goat head found in Satanic bible.

most people think the pentagram is EEEEEEEEEEVIL... basically no one knows its real meaning.

same with the swastika, cos the nazis 'abused' it, everybody hates it now... even tho the original meaning is something good.

I actually read that the swastika and the idea of the aryan carry over from the Buddhism (spelling?) religion... (or is it hindu? one of the two)

Meaning that if hitler's idea of an aryan race were to exist, they wouldn't be anything like he envisioned (blonde/blue eye), but rather indian.

the swastika was used already around 1000BC... basically all over the world, dunno where it originally came from... and yeah native americans used it too. it is (was) supposed to represent life, sun, power, strength, and good luck.

hitler didnt want it cos of its origin but for what it stands for.
(i dunno why but that sentence sounds kinda weird....)
