This is how you fill with coolant and get the air out of a 7MGTE. There are no jack stands or hills involved. Let it get hot. Let the thermostat open. Turn your heater on. You will see the coolant drop quickly in the funnel when the thermostat opens. See the air bubbles coming out on their own? Of course you do.

I am at 18.5 inches of vacuum cold, and just under 20 when I got it hot. So besides needing a cylinder head, it really needs a rebuild with a good head.

Yep. It's time. I will have things done before pictures. This has been a long time coming. I am not fretting over the turbo, I am building the long block. Nothing too high, but more compression with my 93 pump gas available. And 3.14s program for my Lex meter and maybe 680cc injectors. That is what the formula says I need. My power will still be low with how other builds are, 450rwhp will be at the limit, I don't want it sluggish off boost.

I'm looking for a picture with the intake pipe off and not hooked to the 3000 pipe. I don't see one. I will have to say the LIPP elbow had a stud besides the oxygen sensor port studs. And it was held only in that spot. I think it is the flat spot where the red arrow is.

I have a Boss Jr that I bought 10 years ago still in the box. Has taken me that long to install the supporting mods, including an IPT automatic and the CT26 has been more than adequate to run 12 psi over those years.

Sorry about the delayed reply. I went from 98.04 in October (great weather) to 105.56 in July (shit hot and humid) with that being the only change. Stock A340E. And 1/2 second faster ET in the 1/8, so it isn't all on top either.

What boost level were you running? I seem to recall you had the lex/550 mod.
As much as I can. I bounced off fuel cut inconsistently with the weather at 16 psi. I was probably 13-14 on my pass. The GReddy Profec Spec B was easy once you translate the English gibberish to plain English. I found a Word document from the DSM crowd on the terminology.

I did buy the LIPP replica housing. Fit and finish were Toyota like. And RC injectors. And to be fully anal, I bought a 1UZFE used airflow meter in perfect used condition (never saw a K&N in its life) and moved that KV meter to the replica housing.
