With the mod that you list:
60-1 turbo with 2jz stock cams @13psi with no spray and lets say timing at 25, I dont see 480 RWHP.
Unless it is a fully built head with a 2jz block then it might be possible, but then again its only on stock 2jz cams.
It is more likely 380 whp than 480.
jza71 said:Still 440 whp @13psi not happening.
The Reaper said:hahahahahaha i wont be making that power for awhile...still gonna need fuel, clutch, and cams before i even come CLOSE to that.
i'm just right there with cnewingham or whatever his name is. i always said IF and when i EVER remove the stock twins it will be to go single. i didn't want to risk paying 250 for another set of twins just to have them detonate again. so i'll go single low boost for now and just do it all in steps.
awesome numbers rakkasan. ENJOY IT
RacerXJ220 said:Nice numbers. That's just "whoa" material. Which shop did you take it to?
drewgo said:Reap you don't need too much to make that power. I have a gt40 550cc inj. stock fuel rail and SAFC2 and I made 485, I dropped it to 468. You have what it takes. Oh I also have stock clutch and no cams. My car is a daily driver too.
I put in a an average of 450-500 mile per week. So no one can say that it can't be done.:naughty:
RacerXJ220 said:The threads I read, all the MKIV "550cc" injectors flow 450cc. Yet people are making 500whp+ on them, so wtf do I know.
rakkasan said:LOL, ok, I'll take your word for it. Thanks for setting me straight.
tissimo said:if your injectors only flowed 450ccs you'll be running out of fuel soon.. Any ideas on what the duty cycle was like or timing #s
