Hadn't seen any action on the "BLUE SUPRAS" thread for awhile... and decided a couple I shot the other day are good for several hues of blue... so here's to narcissism automotive.

Car is looking good as always Crisp, I see you're still rockin' the old Ohio plates haha. When are you going to lower the car? :)

Thanks! I'd tell you I LIKE my ground clearance for ride quality during high-speed whoops-WOOPS! ...when good air is had and the landing prefers motocross compression take-up to avert a harsh bottoming out...

...but in the back of my mind are those H&R's with the existing EAC-T Suspension System from era HKS (w/TEMS). My primary concern is that the entire camber/castor dial-in is so perfect "as-is" and locked in according to presents in the original literature, I hate to lose that for a "look". Surprisingly, this setup is working GREAT for the street-driving and roads I ride, and works well with the rubber choice, as well. Comfortable AND athletic... even if I'm not able to track-it with any sense of purpose.

At the end of the day, I am aware it would look FAR better with the drop and right rims.:biglaugh:

I'm plain and not persuaded. (Stubborn?) ...actually, time, money and priority may have something to do with it as well... but it doesn't hurt to keep making crisparguments to support what I've got already. It runs and works pretty well, too.;)

PS: I wish I still had the REAL OLD plates that were plain white w/BLUE lettering! I think it was before or just after the plain white with GREEN lettering... a sad era for us ALL!

It's funny that you guys happen to have the rims this car (once belonged to a member on here) had. Color's a coincidence too.

Yup - though BorHor ran a much more "agressive" setup. I've ALWAYS wanted 5Zigens and finally got my hands on a really nice set, would have loved some that were wider however.

Just picked up this clean title 1989 midnight blue on blue 1 owner with 111k miles, 5 speed turbo. Got it for $500 in running condition. It has all paper work/owners manual from 89. Next step 1jz swap.

@Cruzanspeed Wow what a steal. I thought I did well when I picked up my 88 for 800 bucks not running.

Sine I just found this thread I guess I'll post up some pics of my car when I bought it.
