Just because someone doesn't know all that you cats do...., You act like it's a chore to answer their questions. You make it seem like people that haven't built as many engines as you two are not worthy to be here.

You guys discourage new generations of gear heads whilst sitting on your thrones. Because they don't know what you guys do.

I may give wrong information, but I usually follow things up that I am not sure of with a statement that tells the recipient of said advice that I could be wrong. So if I'm wrong..., atleast I am trying to help instead of trying to weed out people that I don't think are worthy of my help.

There is some truth to that. I've had that feeling after reading some threads, of course I know everything x10 so I don't need to ask any questions.

I will say I once felt that way about IJ, but through PMs he has helped me out... so I see where both sides are coming from, and without full stories neither side will agree... everyone could change a few things to make life easier, but well it will never happen... E-debating is worthless, it never works, and really behind a keyboard and monitor, it is stupid, we were given fists for a reason, face to face a fist would be thrown online, bigger man wins (i.e you are banned sir you are banned)... or someone backs down which is usually 2 days later

I may come across as harsh or a cunt at times but I make an effort to actually help out and if I don't know an answer I'll do the research to provide the correct answer and NOT pull something out of my arse just so I look like I'm helping.

I rarely dislike people and will always try and see/understand both sides of an issue before taking action.

If I'm short and answer a question with minimal words it's due to time constraints in the real world but the information I provide is usually correct and if it's not and someone posts a correction I thank them for educating me and revise my thinking, I DON'T get all pissy and rant and rave and start idiot threads after the originals have been closed.

I don't know any of the administrators personally, but I have been helped numerous times by IJ and Duane in pm's and they have never tried to make me seem small or stupid..............well there was this one time with IJ.........:biglaugh:

JJ has a way of pissing alot of people off, but he also has a way of helping some other people that are willing to listen. He also has a way of talking over my head, but he's never given me a wrong answer or belittled me, unless it was so good I just couldn't see it.................:icon_bigg

I was never questioning Ij so much as I am JJ.
There is no disputing that both of them are probably supra prodigies.

The point was that doesn't give you certain rights. That's all of what gets me down in here. I don't tell new people of this site because they may join up and catch the wrath of one of these two guys and it come back on me.

I don't like seeing and experiencing these things. Maybe we just see it so much that it becomes a custom. That still isn't right. In my opinion.
