It looks to me like it's just a hair larger than your 57 trim in pretty much every dimension, but it might just be the pics. How would you say they compare size-wise?

That's the wastegate actuator and size doesn't matter (boss turbos use smaller than stock ones as well)

does too!, my ct26 was creeping but bigger the turbo less manifold pressure

the waste gate port is about 2mm larger than the ct26 port

the housings look not too bad :) see what the turbo builder says.

it bolts up perfectly, clears everything, and WILL fit stock i/c piping it came with oil fittings aswell, some bolts and gaskets.

i'm running a ct26-57 trim atm until i can get this inspected /checked or rebuilt.

sorry for the quallity of some pics, digital camera ran out of batteries and used my phone for some.

as for shaft play it feels tight,

Hi, great photos
Keep in mind what Poodles said!!! Do not use stock elbow!!!

i've got a 3" Dump(to the cat) with a divorced waste gate pipe which joins in 1m after the turbo

is there anything anyone would like me to take a photo of?

i hope to take it to the turbo builder within the next 2 weeks

BTW the inducer is 3" so im betting the stock accordion hose wont work as one end is 3" and the other end is smaller (2.75"??)

my ct26 57 trim "looks a touch smaller" but really the inducer is smaller on the 57trim, but the t61 is massively bigger than the stock ct27

I'm not sure if you can notice but the rear housing is larger for the t61.

Stock accordian pipe MIGHT stretch like they do to run a lexus AFM. What DDP do you have? If it has the tab that sticks out you're going to have to cut it off and run a gasket kinda like what's shown in this auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Down...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item2c50840d00

My worry is that a DDP might not line up correctly and I see the company that make the turbo also sells a bigmouth downpipe...

I can check if the accordion hose will work, i think it will tear the 21 year old piece of rubber to be honest.

my DDP was custom made, so i don't have to, need to check that it will seal against this new turbo first and modify it if needed..

is it just me or do the impeller blades look a little rough cast?

i've been doing research and CX Racing produce this turbo
http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchan...e=CXR&Product_Code=TRB-T61&Category_Code=TOCH

Says that they "design" and produce bolt on turbo's which leads me to think that they produce the rear housing them self. Or atleast designed it and sent it over to china to be made. (custom job either way)
http://www.cxracing.com/aboutus.aspx

I've emailed them asking for some details about it. The company has a 8.5second drag car apparently.

forgot to grab the turbo when i left for work otherwise i would have taken it to the turbo builder.

We are installing right now. Customer decided to just try it out as is.

First issue I see is that it's using 12mm studs instead of 14mm studs. That could be a problem.

Will report back when completed.

are you talking about the dump pipe studs?
did you see the included bolts?

is this being dyno tuned? what pressure does your customer intend to run?

what's your opinion of the quality so far?

Just a hair huh. I just took a look at the pics and DAAAAAAMN. The compressor wheel on the 57 trim look like a joke compared to the t61. If its not exactly 61mm it looks pretty darn close IMO. Ill be checkin this thread on monday for any updates. Keep up the GOOD work on the info and pics
