T06 turbo

Hey to all you Turbo guy's...

I have a N/A that needs more power and i seen a turbo upgrade kit for your 7mgte's, i want to bolt it on to my N/A, along with a ECU, harness from a turbo, injectors ect.

My question is Do any of you know any info on this Turbo?

that is not a td06,

the GREDDY kit is a TD06 turbo. Spools very nicely. I used to run one and now Bcg04 is running it.

as for the ar housing

.6 is tiny!!!

if it was 1.6 that would be huge but .6 A/R? That is a useable turbo. Though a bit on the smaller side (t04b).

the bigger the housing the bigger the a/r in basic terms and not wishing to get complicated on you that means it needs more exhaust gases to fill the housing and make it spool up hence making it less responsive and creating lag
that is the as basic as i can think of explanation if your still not sure just ask

Alright cool... A/R is a ratio! So if the a/r (0.60) is small on the t04b, should i look at other kits? Or will this kit get me what im looking for... about 300hp!

Yah the exhaust side is massive compared to the cold side! That means turbo lag... doesnt it?

I agree, the "T04b ar.60 turbo charger" refers to the cold side A/R.

The hot side is likely over 1.0 and would be a lag monster. This is likley just like most e-Bay turbos with diesel sized exhaust housings...

A rear housing? Are they universal or is that going to be a b*tch to find, and about how much?
