There aren't any on CL, last time I checked. I used to check every day (for almost 5 months), never had one, just quit looking lol

There were two from individuals that were really nice, still over priced but they could probably get that amount. Red 89 turbo targa 5spd, one owner, garaged, grey leather interior, literally looks new, 46xxx. I think that guy wanted $10k. There was a really nice white one, too

And how exactly does people selling their car for more affect you?

A higher price, in my opinion, a good thing. It's more than likely going to put off some ricer nub buying a MKIII because "IT'S TEH SUPRA!1!" or the people who are generally going to drive their cars into the ground and then are going to moan to everyone they know that supras are unreliable when they end up killing it.

I'm in the market for one, if they want that much more, I have to pay that much more, or they wait it out.

Well, your best bet is to be patient. You can try and snag the first affordable Supra you see.... but if you wait out long enough you'll find some crazy good deals. I'd almost suggest looking for a shell w/ a blown motor or no motor... then get a motor for it... cheaper.

Besides, winter is approaching, getting a Supra now isn't the best time!

I know, last winter there was a black 89 turbo targa 5spd w/ grey interior w/ 110k on it last year for 3500

I felt the exact same way when I was looking my supra, prices are alright before I had the money, then as soon as I had the cash in hand, prices jumped... :nono:

The best advice I can give - Just play the waiting game, and eventually something will come up. In my case, two great cars came up at the same time, at the same price. - A running 88 NA and a 92 turbo with rod knock, for $400 each.

Burgundy is gross, unless its ont he grossest color for a supra, burgundy.

So then your car can look like complete barf-ass.

No NA is worth more than 3.5k. Seriously. Pre 89 = worth $10

Wow, then my car must be worth absolutely nothing...it being pre-89, AND having burgundy interior...fuck, I should just push it off a cliff and get it over with...

believe it or not, burgundy interior was a sign of class, hence why it sold so well...

in good shape it looks fine, but it doesn't age well...

grey ages the best, but even that yellows...

I still cant believe how much you guys pay for supra's full stop....here, asking £1500 for one ($2940 or so), is pushing it - and it had better be in mint condition for that as well....

I picked my turbo up for £1000 ($1960)- and that had the exhaust, brakes and TEIN coilovers on it already!
