I have to agree. Members never hesitate to answer questions, no matter how dumb they are. i have definitely gained a lot of knowledge about my car just from being here. I really appreciate everybody's help as it has saved me a lot of money and headaches.

Supraforums used to be alot of fun, then it became trolling waters with nothing but bitching and fighting, and now it seems like it's over come with newbies asking so many dumbass questions that could simply be answered by doing a minutes worth of searching. I usually just skip over those threads, but it has gotten to where there is nothing to read anymore because the whole page is now skipped over.

Not to mention , it has gotten better as their cars get older, but the MKIV Elitist that need to be dealt with, and you come to the conclusion, "What's the Point?" What's funny is I came across the Aussie Supra board and did some reading, seems the MKIV guys have the same bullchit attitude over there also. Go figure!

Ray: I keep SF as read only and will go through "new posts" from time to time and do the same on Aussie SF and have noticed a LOT of attitude :nono:

This place is ran by a bunch of democrats and liberals. Allowing the drive by media to pop in from time to time and slander our community!
The only one I like on the mod team is Nick M. We need more republicans on the mod team. We need to fight the war on communism at sf's and not let sf's bring it home, HERE!
IM A REPUBLICAN BEOTCH!

I really feel at home on SM.com When I first got my Supra I was on SF.com alot and I hated it!! Within the first week of being here I had already meet someone in my area who was willing to give me advice and sell me parts!! I love it here!! I just hope we don't turn into something like SF.com later on down the road.

Let's go Pens!!
I agree as well. I've only owned my Supra for a year and a half. When I first got it, I came here and I-Supra. I'm still a nOOb here for sure, and certainly still have craploads to learn, but I read here everyday. I have also been sold (practically given away) parts when needed, like from Tubbie who sold me two great fenders at what barely covered the shipping, for example, or an accordian hose, or e-brake boot, etc..... For me, one of the best parts of owning my MKIII is coming here. Thanks to all of ya.

My computer freaked just after starting this post last night, and i'm just getting back on. And I still love how the community is comming together!

I'm going to have to swap my tranny out, and yes, I have Supramania member N2FISHN69 willing to give free help.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's a Community project we could all get together and do....I think it would be AWESOME! Stick with me here.

We figure out what the cost would be to fly IJ to the states. Then we all donate to buy his ticket. Once here, we could transport him from state to state in a member's MKIII. I know it would take one hell of a planning job to get him to all 48 states in a short period of time. We'd let the highest donating member from each state do the driving, but I'm sure there would be several members eager to meet IJ, and other members at each exchange. Exchanges could be done at places of interest picked by IJ, so he could enjoy the trip. In some areas, he could get through 3-5 (or more) states in a day with one stop in each. Members could come from all over that state to catch him coming in or going out which ever is closest. Then those who come could extend it out to litle mini meets once he caries on.

Shit this is crazy, but would be fun.

How far from birmingham are you? If it isn't tooooooo far, and if you need another hand, I will help you. Are you all the way down on the coast?........lol

If IJ, wanted to come over, he would have no problem getting a ticket. I know I would donate whatever it would take. The only thing is, I like him now, even though I've never met him. BUT, what if he is a bitch, and we've all paid all of this money and we can't get rid of him. What if he won't go back to Australia. That's the only part that scares me.................:biglaugh:

IJ....A Bitch......BLASPHEMY

Really, I'm not all the way at the coast. I'm in Satsuma, which is at the 19 mile marker on I-65. It's just north of Mobile. The coast is 20-30 miles south of Mobile. We do have the water of Mobile bay in town.
