Well I ordered a new starter a new o2 sensor and currently waiting on a Resisitor pack from a guy in tampa.

Soon I'll be prepping the car for paint again this time its going to my tech school into a real shop with tools Pics soon.

I got the MAP ECU off some guy with a MKIV on ebay.

Well a little update for today got the new Fuel pump in ......Damn I miss the Honda on that one and changed the filter next is the J-tube and the re-wire for a constant 12 volts.


Then some time next week my resistor pack comes in special thanks to Jayson and we will see where it goes from there.

Supra is running !

Today is a very good day for me installed the new starter which was a pain in the ass but came out fine, other then the scars from the intake mani.

Got some syncromesh in the w58 now I have to find throttle cables.

Either way it sounds so good to hear this car run with out a knock and piston slap.......

Well I got a deal I just could not refuse on rims even though I really dis like the Motegi brand the price was just right

The Front rims are 18x9 with a +12 offset and the rears are 18x10 with a +30 offset

I just needed some wide rims in the rear probably gonna stick some Nitto drs 295s in the rear and roll the fenders if needed.

I'm just gonna roll with out the motegi center caps meh.

UPDATE on my slow build

Well I hate wiring and I couldn't figure out why the car would stay on so off it went to a special shop in Orlando Turns out the ECU I purchased from a Old user on this board was no good.......

And like everything that I've done to this car when something goes bad why not fix it the right way and upgrade while I'm at it I liked a lot of Map ECU features but I want timing control. So the band aid for bad ECU is a Micro tech LT12S.

Also now that my budget is a tab bit more flexible instead of going with the dual walbro the cars getting a Aeromotive A1000 still waiting on my injectors from SP.

two things... FYI: map ecu 2 HAS TIMING CONTROL. (if you need a good 87-88 turbo 5spd ecu i have one ..not sure what year harness you are running)

and secondly...a 12 offset? does that bitch even fit? lol

Yeah I now the map ecu 2 has timing control but I got too good of a price on the mircrotech to turn it down.

My cars an 89 thanks anyway doh jayson. But the rims fit tested fitted fine.

LOL yeah its been a long build that was when I worked at STEAK N SHAKE, But the clutch came with the two jdm motors and pistons.

Not that worried about it drove a 240 with an Unsprung clutch wasnt too bad.

Im ready for that I just wish I had more options like a kit for a t56 or something but you'll get the first word when I need a Supra's r154.

SupraDan I have a question, did you ever own a 89+ Red Supra turbo w/ 92 panels? A while back I tried to buy one from a guy off another forum titled SupraDan and he never got back to me.

Update

After waiting 3 months for the Microtech having it stuck in customs and receiving 2 wrong units.

I've decided to get my money back and Mega squirt it.
